  My husband and I started attending First Baptist of Jacksonville in 2002. We have come to feel at home at this church. The church family is wonderful and very supportive of each other. They have a great youth ministry (we have 3 teenagers), and they have a great children's program (we also have a 2 year old). The staff is wonderful, and they are truly Godly people. If you are looking for a church home, you should really consider this church.

  As our community grows, First Baptist of Jacksonville has risen to the challenge, and commission from Christ to go out and spread the Good News to all that will listen. FBC J'ville has expanded into 2 campuses, yet they still act as one body. The new South campus, called Eaglepoint, is an exiting new place to worship and fellowship with fellow Christians. Also located at Eaglepoint, The Loft is a new "hangout" for young people that is safe, yet modern enough to be a place that attracts kids looking for somewhere to connect. The excitement at FBC Jacksonville is evident in the members, and how they talk about their church. God is doing amazing things in Calhoun County...and I believe First Baptist of Jacksonville is right in the middle of God's will.

  God brought me to First Baptist Church of Jacksonville via the Celebrate Recovery program which is hosted by the church in January of 2014. I am thankful to my dad above every single day for my church family and my CR family as well. I am at home for sure at J'ville First Baptist. Everybody there is super nice. I also applaud the children's program. My granddaughter is 6 and goes with me to Sunday school and church and she absolutely loves it! If you are looking for a church home, I'd sure suggest visiting here.
